The Orca sits in the same position as the freighters, they are the 7-Up of capital ships... they are the "Un-Capitals". So it lacks a jump drive and does not require capital ships to pilot but yet is still called a capital ship for some reason.

I have found in my many years of EVE, that while its sell value is pretty low compared to other minerals, Trit is always a good seller. Everything uses trit so everybody depends on trit. And high sec is up to its eyeballs in veld which is all trit.

its not common at all. the cargo load needs to actually be worth it, no pirate corp will risk a few bill ISK for a killmail and loot not worth several billion ISK.
